An ordinary LEGO minifigure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary
MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil LEGO tyrant from gluing
the universe together.

Perhaps one lesson learned from Battleship (2012): audiences don't want classic
board games turned into overly serious action-adventure tales. So we were relieved
when Warner Bros. announced the project as an animated movie to be co-directed by
the guys from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009).
